GRIMANESA AMORÓS
Grimanesa Amorós is a Peruvian-born American multimedia artist known for monumental sculpture and immersive installations that explore the intersections of history, technology, architecture, and community. Her work frequently incorporates light, video, and electronic components to transform architectural spaces and create dynamic environments.
Amorós’s work draws connections between cultures, histories, and contemporary technologies, inviting viewers to reconsider their surroundings and perceptions. Her light-based sculptures and installations have been presented across the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
