MADALENA NEGRONE

BIOGRAPHY

Madalena Negrone is an Italian artist whose work explores scientific and metaphysical frameworks, interpreting the hidden forces shaping our existence. Her ongoing series, Entangled, draws inspiration from quantum entanglement, translating concepts of invisible connection, simultaneity, and shared energy into visual form. While rooted in quantum physics, the work mirrors human relationships, capturing the beauty, mystery, and chaos of interconnection.

Art critic Andrea Pompili describes Negrone's compositions as "visionary archipelagos, where [the artist] channels the energy of real life while preserving a state of openness, allowing for the possibility of continual transformation without crystallizing any single element."

Born and raised in Genoa, Italy, Negrone has painted from an early age. She studied under the tutelage of Gabriele Kutzke, a German-born painter and sculptor. Negrone's work has been widely exhibited in New York and internationally, including solo exhibitions at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome and the Museum of Art and Science in Milan. Her work appeared in the group exhibition, Luce, at Villa Arconati, curated by Diana Segantini. In 2024, she was spotlighted in a prominent campaign and exhibition by the Italian fashion brand Aspesi.

Negrone’s paintings are held in the permanent collections of the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome and the Museum of Art and Science in Milan. Her work has been featured in Hyperallergic, Artribune, Il Sole 24 Ore, and Graphie magazine.
